From the North |
There can be two possibilities to reach Assisi : From the A 14 Adriatica highway ( Bologna – Taranto ) , go out at Cesena and follow for Perugia with the E 45 motorway untill the exit for Assisi Otherwise it is possible to drive on the A 1 highway, go out in Valdichiana and follow for Perugia and then taking the motorway E 45 Perugia - Cesena untill the exit for Assisi. |
From the South |
Even here it is possible to chose between two possibilities : From the A 14 Adriatica highway, go out in Civitanova Marche following for Foligno – Perugia untill the exit for Assisi Who prefers the A 1 highway can go out at Orte, following the E 45 motorway in Perugia – cesena direction, untill the exit for Assisi. |
BY TRAIN
The line needed is the Firenze – Terontola – Perugia – Foligno going to Assisi Santa Maria rail station ( there is a bus service to the town centre ). |
